Jakarta Provincial Government asks PT Kereta Api (KAI) to provide a land for construction of park and ride area. Thus the vehicles from partner cities that go to the capital can entrust their vehicles in the parking area and continue the trip with public transport.

"We hope PT KAI can also build a park and ride," said Sunardi Sinaga, Deputy Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept, Monday (4/25).

According to Sunardi, until now, his dept still continues to finalize additional park and ride in the city, especially in Kalideres, Kampung Rambutan terminals, etc.

"So far, we're still looking for the lands that can be transformed into park and ride," he said.
